Jim and I have sold the James Gang Coffeehouse and are going to focus our time on enhancing The HideAway Coffeehouse and Wine Bar. This is a lifestyle choice as I am trying to re-gain my health while dealing with Fibromyalgia. I’m hoping to restore my energy so I can enjoy our six kids and all of their activities. We look forward to seeing all of our customers at our downtown Northfield location for either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! Thank you so much for 4 years of success at the James Gang.

The domain name jamesgangcoffeehouse.com now points to a different web site and this site/blog will use jamesganghideaway.com

She’ll be going to work for a company called Healthsense, a spinoff of Redwing Technologies where her husband Terry Barck works.

I snapped this photo last week of downtown leaders meeting at the HideAway last week, talking high-level stuff.

We are now open from 6am-9pm Monday -Wednesday, 6am-11pm Thursday-Saturday, and 7am-9pm Sunday.  Join us for 1/2 price lattes and mochas Monday-Wednesday after 5 and 1/2 price bottles of wine on Thursday-Saturday.  Hope to see you there!!!

I took this photo of nationally-recognized landscape painter Fred Somers yesterday, posing in front of his work that’s on display this month throughout the HideAway.

Fred and his wife Avis are regulars. Their studio/gallery is just south of Northfield on Hwy. 246.

Looking for a place to host your holiday party? You can rent The HideAway for a wine tasting and appetizer party for up to 100 people… just like the Northfield CQE did last week for their Vote Yes event.
